Hi – I’m Kristin.
I started Veraz Consulting because I see potential where most people see a challenge. The potential for start-ups and growth ventures to explode if they manage culture transformation, fast growth, and mergers & acquisitions properly is huge – but it’s hard to do without experience.
I’ve been transforming company cultures and their leaders to be business savvy and compassionate, resilient and flexible, and most importantly, integrity-driven, for 20+ years all around the globe. The “Veraz” approach to understanding where everyone is coming from has helped me wrangle ragtag groups into legendary teams, while making sure everyone from C-Suite executives to bright-eyed interns feel like part of a whole community.
The breadth of companies that I served ranged from small start-ups to large, publicly traded companies, in the high tech, software, IT, health and development industries. My curiosity led me to the life-changing international leadership experiences that gave me insight into the value of diversity in company culture that continues to guide me in my practice. Those experiences and challenges were where I solidified the importance of emotional intelligence, integrity and being grounded in authenticity as tenets of the ways I wanted to practice HR.
It was at those companies – where I served as Chief Talent Officer, Chief People Officer, and SVP Global Human Resources, respectively – where I truly learned how explosive growth affected people and organizations on fundamental, complex, and dynamic levels. And now, I apply my experience to “people problems” found in boardrooms, investment meetings, and start-ups like yours through consulting, board membership (currently at a start-up tech company), and executive coaching.
The truth I’ve come to know is that the growing pains are the same whether you’re a start-up or a well-established organization.
Your ability to manage change comes down to self-awareness, communication, understanding your business, and navigating through your unique culture. Learning how to deal with growing pains is an important step to gaining true wisdom as a leader and as a business.
I was determined to mold my own vision and philosophy for what human resources and people management really could be: not just a time-stamper or a rule-setter, but an authentic business leader, forward-thinking advisor, and a compassionate consultant with a strong moral compass.

- Building and transforming a dynamic strategy and high-performing teams to support multiple fast-growth software companies that have experienced global expansion, mergers and acquisitions and cultural transformations
- Completely transforming the culture, infrastructure, team and reputation of a $1B software company following a rocky acquisition
- Surviving and thriving through 4 acquisitions and mergers in 2 different industries – while keeping the morale of the employees high and hopeful
- Living overseas twice as an expatriate (London and Hong Kong) and creating the HR and People infrastructure, culture, and processes for the growth and scale of multiple multinational tech companies
